Make meal times simple for your group.

The Reading Dining Pass by Clever Cuisine is a convenient, cashless way for residential groups, visitors and other organised parties to enjoy Meals across the University of Reading campus, where they are hosted by a University Colleague or Student. We can cater for 2 people or more.

One Meal Swipe is charged at £8 – the Meal Swipe follows the rules of Clever Cuisine eligibility so please contact us if you are unsure what is covered in a particular outlet or check Clever Cuisine pages.

It’s really simple –

1 – Give us the date(s)

2 – How many meals you need per day

3 – Which Staff/Student Campus Card you want it loaded onto

4 – Provide a Project and Account Code

We load to your Campus Card, once you arrive at your chosen outlet, let us know it’s a Reading Meal Pass you are paying with and we’ll deduct the meals from Reading Dining Pass.

Only University of Reading colleagues using University funds are able to book using this service – all other requests, including where there are more complex requirements or you require assistance, please contact the University’s Venue Reading team.

If your group is larger than 30 people, we may need to stagger arrival times, and usually need 3 working days to ensure we have enough food for your group.

Flexible food and drink across campus

Guests can use their Reading Dining Pass at cafés, restaurants and bars that participate in Clever Cuisine. There is plenty of choice across campus and a Reading Meal Pass is used in the same way as our Clever Cuisine Meal Plans. Find out more on the Clever Cuisine pages. Your group benefit from a variety of choice offered by our outlets and is a more sustainable option than Delivered Catering Services as everyone gets more choice!
