Great food on campus, made simple.

Clever Cuisine Colleague is a flexible meal plan exclusively for University of Reading Employees*. For £56, you’ll receive 10 meals to enjoy across participating Dining Services locations.

It is an easy, great-value way to make the most of campus food—whether you are grabbing lunch between meetings, catching up with colleagues or picking up dinner before heading home.

What’s included?

Each meal-plan swipe gives you access to a generous meal at participating locations, including the all-you-can-eat restaurants at Park Eat, Eat at the Square, Wantage (by appointment) and St Patrick’s, as well as selected cafés – Wilderness Kitchen, the Dairy and Oh Crumbs!

Choose from freshly prepared hot meals, salads, plant-based dishes, international favourites and more. Menus change regularly and include clear allergen and nutritional information.

Park House will shortly be joining for Clever Cuisine for Colleague Plan holders, but will charge two Meal Swipes for certain dishes.

How it works

1 – Buy your Clever Cuisine for Colleagues plan for £65 at a till point – you need your Campus Card.

2 – Your 10 meals are loaded onto your Campus Card.

3 – Tap your Campus Card at participating outlets to use a meal.

4 – You have until 31st July each year to use your Meal Swipes

No need to carry vouchers or worry about paying at every meal—just tap and enjoy.

Meal Swipes are redeemable in the same way as Clever Cuisine for Students – in bars and cafes please ask what’s included or look for the Clever Cuisine logo.

Clever Cuisine meals are prepared by the University’s Dining Services team, with a focus on quality ingredients, variety and responsible sourcing. The colleague plan offers a simple way to enjoy campus food at excellent value.
