Neck of the Woods Festival 2024

The Neck of Woods Festival at the University of Reading is returning again this year, offering a huge range of local food, beers and ciders from more than a dozen local breweries that the University already has close links with, as well as wines from Stanlake Park Wine Estate in Twyford, and gins from the Henley Distillery and Berkshire Botanical.

The festival will be held in Park House and neighbouring Eat at the Square on Whiteknights campus on Friday 24 and Saturday 25 May.

Entry includes a unique craft beer glass designed in partnership with Siren Craft Brew.

Tickets & Timings

Friday 24 May 5pm – 11pm, please note this session is over 18’s only.

Saturday 25 May 2pm – 8pm, families welcome, under 18’s can attend for free if accompanied by an adult.

Tickets are £5 per person and can be purchased online in advance, tickets will also be available on the day at the venue.

Clever Cuisine students on a current meal plan can attend the festival for free.

No refunds are available but you can exchange to attend another session.

Dogs are welcome to either session, please keep them on leads.

Food & Drink

A wide variety of food options will be available across the sessions with BBQ, Mexican, Pizza, Sweet Treats, local cheese boards and toasties. Food options will cater for a variety of dietary needs.

Non alcoholic beverages will also be available.

Student meal swipes can be used for BBQ & Mexican food options.

Entertainment

Shuffleboard, pool tables and smart interactive darts will be available in Eat @ The Square
