Your Meal Plan is included in the advertised rent so there are no further charges. You’ll receive 40 weeks of Meals, with the number per week depending on your Hall and time of year
You cannot downgrade or remove Meal Plans provided with Meal Plan Hall rooms.
*Meal Equivalency operates in selected smaller outlets and allows a Meal Swipe to be exchanged for a Meal. The outlets currently participating are the Dairy and Wilderness Kitchen.
**Vacation Cover provides a Daily Campus Cash allowance intended to cover two fixed price £5 meals per day, available from either Park Eat or St. Patrick’s, during specified Vacation periods. Unspent balance remains on your account until you leave the University and can be spent in any Dining Services operated outlet, subject to complying with Campus Cash terms. It expires once you leave the University and is non-refundable. This is included in rents for Windsor, Wantage, St. Patrick’s and Dunsden room. Participating outlets are expected to be Dolchevita, the Library, Henley Business School (Whiteknights), the Dairy, Park House, Enterprise Cafe, Park Eat and Wilderness Kitchen.

Any Hall Room that does not include a Meal Plan, can have a Meal Plan added to it. The University encourage all first year students to have a Meal Plan as it removes budgeting worries and a balanced diet helps support success in University life.
Meal Plans added to a Hall Room are billed following the Accommodation payment structure which is generally one complete payment for single semester contracts, three payments for 40 week contracts and five payments for 51 week contracts. The payment amounts shown below are based on a 40 week room contract. Your payments may vary according to personal circumstances and the Accommodation Team can provide an accurate illustration.

If you wish to upgrade to 40 weeks please contact us once you are in Halls – the cost is £630. We can’t at this time at to your room.
You can book your Meal Plan directly with us, regardless of where you live, from Tuesday 4 August 2026.
We charge upfront for Meal Plans either in person or online, and you can select either to book a Meal Plan by the Semester or Year. If you book a Year, we can offer monthly payments, please get in touch for information.

****Dates for 2026/27 Semesters are expected in late January/early February 2026. If different to expected dates, the Semester 1 & 2 amounts may change however the overall Annual amount will remain the same.
The daily rate for Meal Plans where the University is paying will be £20 per student per day, providing unlimited Meals, for the first seven days. After this point, the Platinum weekly rate is charged for part or whole weeks. Out of hours requests may incur a charge of £150 which can be waived at the discretion of the Director of Dining. Contractors will need to pay VAT at prevailing rate. These rates apply to any bookings ending on or after 1st August 2026.
