Our response to COVID-19

At Venue Reading the safety and wellbeing of our guests, as well as that of our staff and service providers and the wider community, is of great importance to us. We are continuing to work with some COVID-19 measures across our venue to help give you confidence during your visit and to help to protect your health and safety.

This information is revised in line with government guidance and may be subject to change before your visit.

We are very much looking forward to welcoming you to our venue.

Visit

We continue to have in place some measures to help keep you and others safe during your time with us here at Reading. Things may still be done differently, but please be assured that we are still dedicated to delivering events to the highest standard.

• One-way systems continue to be signposted throughout specific areas on campus
• Antibacterial hand gel and sanitising stations remain available inside each of our venues
• Perspex screens remain in place at some key areas
• Our reception team will clean and sanitise the desk on a regular basis and between shifts
• We are a cashless environment so will only take card payments
• The card machine is sanitised regularly by the reception team

While antibacterial hand gel and sanitising stations are available throughout our venue, washing your hands regularly is still crucial.

Face Coverings: We continue to encourage the wearing of face coverings when in crowded places or when moving around inside buildings, in line with the Living with COVID guidance

Rapid Lateral Flow Tests/attendance at Campus:

You may wish to take a lateral flow test the night before / morning of arrival and continue to test whilst you are with us, if you have access to LFTs. Please do not come to the campus if your test result is positive.

In any event, if you have any of the main symptoms of COVID-19 (a new continuous cough, a high temperature or a loss or change to your sense of taste or smell) OR you test positive for COVID-19 through a lateral flow or PCR test, you must not attend the event. The guidance continues to be that those who test positive should stay at home and avoid contact with other people where possible.
