At Venue Reading the safety and wellbeing of our guests, as well as that of our staff and service providers and the wider community, is of great importance to us. We are continuing to work with some COVID-19 measures across our venue to help give you confidence during your visit and to help to protect your health and safety.

Rapid Lateral Flow Tests/attendance at Campus:
You may wish to take a lateral flow test the night before / morning of arrival and continue to test whilst you are with us, if you have access to LFTs. Please do not come to the campus if your test result is positive.
In any event, if you have any of the main symptoms of COVID-19 (a new continuous cough, a high temperature or a loss or change to your sense of taste or smell) OR you test positive for COVID-19 through a lateral flow or PCR test, you must not attend the event. To ensure the safety of our delegates, tutors, and staff some of our room capacities have changed based on ventilation. Meeting rooms with mechanical ventilation systems will be set to constant level ensuring the correct circulation of external air flow is maintained.

We will continue to adapt our food and drink offering so that we can give you and your guests the possible catering experience suited to your event.

All food and beverages are handled and produced in line with the Food Safety legislation, including allergen management.
All our teams are provided with the appropriate products, protective equipment, and support to ensure that every guest receives the highest standard of customer service.
• Guests can pay for bed and breakfast via our online portal, which can be accessed via our website.• Enhanced cleaning and sanitising will be done between bookings• In-room information will be available online and an email will be sent in advance of your stay with further details.

Training, guidance, and support has been provided to our team members to ensure safety measures are taken and government guidelines are met, allowing your events to be delivered to the highest possible standard.
