Catering requirements for Welcome Week and first week of the Autumn term

If you need to place a Delivered Catering order for Welcome Week or the first week of term, please be sure to make the order by the 10th September if it is due for delivery between the 13th September and 4th October 2021. The Venue Reading team are continuing to support with other on campus activities from the 13th September – 4th October 2021 and so last minute requests may not be possible. 

For a delivered catering booking 3 working days’ notice is required to create, alter or cancel a delivered catering booking.
 
For a served booking taking place in one of our venues between Monday and Friday (8am to 5pm), 10 working days’ notice is required to create, alter or cancel a booking.

For any bookings out of working hours (Monday to Friday – 8am to 5pm), please ensure you have placed this booking 10 working days before its required.  

 
When placing an order, we are relying on our supply chain to be able to deliver everything you have ordered.  Whilst we will do our very best to deliver everything as you order, there may be occasions where we need to make substitutions with very short notice. Please do bear with us as we get through this difficult period of time.
  
If you are making a booking in advance the easiest way for you to do this is to use our online booking portal to order your catering.  This service allows you to manage your bookings by making new orders, editing and cancel orders and means you do not have to wait for us to respond to you.
